This is a practical acting course for the camera. We will create a space for play and creative development that combines theory and viewings, with a central focus on staging scenes—in pairs and/or individually.
The course provides essential tools for acting on camera, focusing on the expressive, emotional, and critical development of each performer. Throughout the sessions, we will explore audiovisual language, character creation, and filmmaking processes, training the gaze, body, and intuition as living instruments.
This training program aims to strengthen the actor's creative autonomy, both in collaborative, more contemplative creative processes and in faster-paced, industrial contexts where there is sometimes no room for internal development. When conditions are challenging, the performer's imaginative and sensitive perspective is crucial, enabling them to sustain a conscious, daring, and nuanced approach to their work.
Similarly, the use of specific software will be fundamental for students to acquire the digital skills necessary for the performance of their future work.
