BRIEF HISTORY
Karlik Danza Teatro
was founded in Cáceres (Extremadura) in 1991 with the aim of finding a stage language that could go beyond any of the techniques it had assimilated.
Since its foundation, under the artistic direction of Cristina D. Silveira and the management of David Pérez Hernando, it has produced 36 shows that have been performed in 32 countries.
By working with actors, acrobats, and dancers, Cristina D. Silveira has developed a choreographic language that merges these different disciplines, seeking a universal form of expression.
In recent years, the company’s goal has been to ensure stability and continuity in this process of research and exploration.
With the opening of the Scenic Resources Management Center in 2007, the company aims to create a shared space for creators and audiences.
