SYNOPSIS
A Japanese Story It is a show for all children inspired by the story “The Tree”, by Sophia de Mello Breyner, which in turn was based on an ancient Japanese tale. A matryoshka doll of stories that thus passes through our hands to reach your senses.
A Japanese Story It tells the story of a sacred tree for the inhabitants of a small island in Japan and the relationship of its people with nature, tradition, and the legacy of their ancestors. It also speaks of the impermanence of life and how everything transforms into everything else, so that what disappears now can nourish what is yet to be born.
