SYNOPSIS
Marie Suel proposes speaking through the language of dance-theater about fears: those of a child at the beginning of life and, at the opposite extreme, those of an old man. The performance takes place in the child's room, in the middle of the night, drawing attention to the present moment and emphasizing the growing complicity between these two characters through a series of games, revealing joy amidst fears of death, abandonment, the unknown, or failure. Jocelyne and Marcelle, as the Medes are named, disappear just as quickly as they are named.
Continuing the collaboration that began in 2015, Teatromosca and the French company La Tête Noire, La Compagnie, are collaborating once again this year on the creation of a show, this time for children, following their 2018 co-production of the show “Kif-Kif” for ages 12 and up. Joining these two companies is now Teatro Art'Imagem, with whom Teatromosca has also been collaborating regularly.
