SYNOPSIS

Between paradigms of love, the madness of the alienated man, the present time, an incredible Juliet co-stars in the impossibility of a Romeo without a place in the present.
The action takes place in an unreal cemetery, in an unreal Verona, many years after Shakespeare's play. Juliet, or a woman who believes herself to be Juliet, places flowers on her own grave every day.

You forgot where Romeo lies, or perhaps you never knew. She forgot some details of the drama, if she ever knew them at all. But she keeps alive the idea that everyone but her deserves a dignified place in history. Unraveling emotions, dressed as a widow or in a woman of color, sometimes covering her face with a black net, sometimes embracing it, Juliet breaks the paradigm of eternal love, beginning with not loving herself, and perhaps with wanting a ray of love that someone had wasted and that she felt so good about finding.

Instead, Romeo appears to him—Romeo's spirit, an ethereal and eternal Romeo. He believes he embodies love, but some surprises await him that could shake him to his core. And shake us to our core. The action unfolds in the present, over a little more than an hour, in a setting that reflects Juliet's idealized vision of the Verona cemetery and her encounter with the real Romeo.
