SYNOPSIS

"PIN K" is dance, theater, and live music. It is an ecologically sensitive work inspired by the true story of a wild Tanzanian flamingo, while simultaneously illuminating the need to celebrate "radical diversity in our world; not by taking refuge among those who only think, speak, or look like us, but by drawing profound pleasure from the other and the strangeness."

DANCE AS ACTIVISM

Our perception of the world has focused on the human, but through dance we can see the world through the other, a River, a Forest, a Flamenco.

When one feels connection, one can be compassionate, and it is compassion that manifests change and transformation. With this new creation, PINK, I wish to reclaim the wider community of life, while leaving the stage open for others to share the same connection I feel.
