SYNOPSIS
OBLIVION is an English word that means forgetting, amnesty, or forgiveness; it is a place oftransformation, situated between grief and emptiness, between memory and nothingness.
OBLIVION could bean image of the classical purgatory, as described by Dante in The Divine Comedy: the place oftransition par excellence, conditioned by the idea of the circle, by the eternal wandering of bodiesin space; as if in the act of moving through space there were ultimately aLetting go, a renunciation of all that binds us to suffering: memories, desires, identity. To wander,"vacare" in Latin means to wander, to float, to roam; but also "to be empty".
OBLIVION is aA path that becomes easier to traverse, a dance of increasing entropy. After all, theBeyond and oblivion could be one and the same.
