SYNOPSIS

A show that speaks of human rights in the broadest sense of the word, those that we feel are increasingly endangered today: those who are marginalized in society, those who die at sea or are repatriated, those who live on the streets, the tortured, the imprisoned, abused women, those who do not receive a dignified burial.

The courage and fierceness of Antigone's ethical disobedience, embodied by the hard, sober iron of Mikulàš Rachlìk's majestic and powerful work, and the poetic language of Ilaria Drago—whose voice is the essential instrument that vibrates through the paintings recreated by Max Mugnai's light designs—come together through this gestural score developed thanks to the valuable contribution of Claude Coldy.

In this multidisciplinary stage project, performed on an imposing, partially mobile iron structure capable of housing the stage action within its walls, the choreographer guides the actors' movements, employing the principles of Sensitive Dance® to create the story of Antigone. He also collaborates closely with the director to develop visionary scenes. This extraordinary synergy is embodied in the music composed by Stefano Scatozza, crafted from strings, iron, and voices, inspired by the sounds produced by the stage structure itself.
