SYNOPSIS
After the Civil War ended, Manuel Machado returned to the house in Madrid that his mother and brother Antonio had shared. It was untouched. It looked as if the war had never taken place there.
Manuel can't stop thinking about Antonio and has the long conversation with him that he couldn't have during the war. This painful yet healing dialogue allows them both to remember everything they experienced together: their years as successful playwrights, their respective loves, their bohemian modernist youth, their childhood in a Seville courtyard… They are family despite everything, even though now they are a large family broken and separated by death… or perhaps not.
