SYNOPSIS
The earth is not only dust, stones, and mud, but also the hands that plowed it, the feet that danced upon it, the blood that watered it, and the stories that told it. Standing upon it, I wonder about those who once trod the same earth I now tread. What do I owe them? What do I reproach them for? What remains of them in me? In a journey through the time of my personal and family history and the space of the Tiétar Valley in Ávila, a story unfolds of reconnection with lost roots, along with an optimistic affirmation of the subversive potential of tradition to build futures of freedom, equality, and justice.
