SYNOPSIS
The Land of the Zeros is a play for children (ages 4-12) that tells the story of a governor who, in a television interview, dismisses the number zero, saying it's useless. The next day, the entire country wakes up to the news that zeros have disappeared from calendars and banknotes, calculators, and multiplication tables.
Amid widespread chaos, the governor will have the arduous task of finding the missing persons before April 20th, and returning things to normal, because we were all created with a purpose and value.
When making any kind of judgment, one almost always falls into prejudice. A preconceived judgment made without knowing a person as they truly are becomes a prejudice—a preconceived and tenacious opinion, usually unfavorable, about something that is little known or poorly understood.
The work highlights values such as humility, distinguishing those who value themselves appropriately and who don't judge others based on appearances—those who don't consider themselves superior or inferior, recognizing their true worth without boasting to those around them, for their actions speak for themselves. In this society, some people believe that humility means acting as if we matter less than others, as if our achievements are undeserved. We are all important, not for our appearances, but for who we are.
