SYNOPSIS
The story begins at the wedding banquet of Thetis and Peleus on Mount Olympus. Zeus, the father of almost all the gods, was delighted, surrounded by the most beautiful goddesses and nymphs of Olympus.
Everyone knows he wasn't picky about anyone. He didn't care about social class, political differences, age... anyone he set his sights on didn't get away.
But getting back to the matter at hand: all the gods were invited to the "Olympian wedding" except for Eris Cla Discordia. She was a lady who went to parties and didn't go unnoticed; she interfered with her friends' boyfriends, invented gossip, drank nonstop... in short, she was one of those people who end up ruining any plan you have.
The truth is, she showed up at the party absolutely furious at not having been invited, and to spite everyone, she hatched a plan: she crafted a pure gold apple, inscribed it with the words "For the Fairest," and dropped it in the center of the table. You can imagine. At a party with all the most beautiful women of the time. Each one more proud and boastful than the last, they all considered the golden fruit rightfully theirs... and of course, they fought.
At the banquet itself, a first quick selection was made, and three finalists remained: Aphrodite Venus was his wife, who in Rome was Juno, Pallas Athena, Minerva...
A difficult choice indeed. Supreme Zeus didn't want to get involved, since he liked all three and wasn't about to antagonize two by choosing one. Besides, he'd already had his share of trouble with all three. This could prevent him from enjoying them in the future. Of course not!
