SYNOPSIS
The premise in "Blue Forests" is to imagine sex as a means of state control.

With an omniscient government based on a virtual (and disconcerting) presence, on the one hand, and on hypervigilance, on the other, spaces of intimacy are minimal, perhaps only the moments of release where, with half of an anonymous body, one can access sexual pleasure.
Is humankind potentially enslavable when sexual intercourse is restricted?
What happens to love in a society based on radical anonymity?
What are the gaps through which rebellion seeps in under the all-seeing, watchful gaze?
