And for you, what is a diabolo?
For young children, it's probably an exotic, unfamiliar object. A strange thing to pay attention to. Something to observe with wonder, using each and every one of their senses.
With nostalgia and knowing smiles, many of us older folks—parents, grandparents, and more—look back on it. There were generations, from black and white to color, for whom the diabolo was a common and essential toy. A fond memory of a childhood that also included balls, spinning tops, marbles, and bottle caps.
